Surrey FA organised a recreational tournament at their headquarters in Dorking; the final tournament of 2018/19 season.
Reigate Women FC participated in the Championship group, alongside Woking Diamonds and Caterham Palace Pumas, with teams playing each other three times over the course of the afternoon. The opening game was between Woking Diamonds and Reigate Women FC and ended in a 0-0 draw. Reigate then stayed on to play the Caterham Palace Pumas, a 1-0 win to the Pumas. Following two further wins for the Pumas, first against Woking, then again against Reigate; Reigate came back on for their last two games, looking to finally break their goal scoring duck. In their final game against the Pumas, they did so in style, with Charlotte McKeon scoring first, followed quickly by Becca Nesbitt and Izzy Maclaren, for a 3-0 win. Playing Woking Diamonds for the last time, Reigate’s American midfielder Jaime Randle scored a crazy goal, much to the delight of her teammates, taking them to a final 1-0 win and putting them mid-table for the day’s tournament.
